The Bothy
The Bothy is our brand new ultra-exclusive accommodation designed for those who enjoy all the Lake District has to offer in terms of adventure as well as having somewhere luxurious to shed the hiking gear and relax into comfortable and high quality surroundings.
The Bothy is located above the lodges at Hartsop Fold and has spectacular views down the valley. It is our home away from home and somewhere very special to us.
The Bothy
The Bothy is the perfect location for couples and friends. It features two ensuite bedrooms, a modern kitchen, beautiful furniture, underfloor heating – all the comforts of the modern world in a beautifully rustic setting. Its location on the hill offers stunning views from every window. Enjoy watching red deer grazing high up on the fell, or scouting out your next walk!
Bookings are flexible – please send us an email with your preferred dates and party details. Please note that at this time the Bothy is pet-free.

All guests of Hartsop Fold benefit from:
Bed linen and towels provided in each lodge: a bath towel and hand towel per guest as well as bath mats, tea towels and cleaning cloths. Kitchens are equipped with kitchen utensils.
A ‘Welcome Pack’ that includes: washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, and a bin liner in the kitchen; some tea, coffee, sugar, and biscuits to make a drink on arrival; and a couple of toilet rolls, bin liners, and bars of hand soap in the bathrooms. All to get you started on arrival at Hartsop Fold
Free Wi-Fi is available on the park. It can sometimes be intermittent – the cost of being in such a beautiful place surrounded by fells.
There is a free to use washing machine and tumble dryer located in the amenity building.
